Rosalita's Puppets can provide not only marionette shows but workshops in puppetry, acting, improvisation, singing, movement, mask work and storytelling. Why not try the popular storytelling and hand puppet program "AUNTY GOOSE" (see picture on the left). In this show Charlotte portrays Mother Goose's sister. As Aunty Goose she tells short stories using puppets,audience participation and activities. Charlotte an an accomplished actor and storyteller and can bring vivid tales to varied groups. Including adult/teen presentations like "The Dollmakers Ghost".


For larger groups try the "Enchanted Castle" show with 1or 2 performers or" The Three Singing princesses" a 3 person show.

Charlotte Anne Dore founded Rosalita"s Puppets over twenty years ago. While completing her degree in Theater and Visual Art in Great Britain, she interned with Movingstage Marionette Company and Unicorn Theatre. Since then, she has presented a variety of children's and adults' puppet pieces at renaissance festivals, libraries, faires, birthday parties and theaters, all over New England and beyond. Just a sampling of venues include King Richard's Faire MA,First Night Boston, The ICA Boston, libraries in NJ, day care centers in New York City,The Puppet and Mask Theater in Syracusse New York, The Conneticut Rennaissance Faire, The Salem Pirate Faire,Boston Common,The Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum and so much more.

Rosalita's puppets has been featured in the Boston Globe. And is approoved for NEST funding.(Massachusetts touring roster through New England foundation for the Arts.)

Rosalita's Puppets is a 2007 & 2008 Rennaisance festival award winner coming second place nationally in "best children's entertainer" catergory!!!

2010 Charlotte won 4th place in the Rennaisance faire magazines NATIONAL awards for "best children's act" at a rennaisance faire.

Charlotte is a member of Puppeteers Of America, the Boston Puppetry Guild and the international puppetry association UNIMA. Not only does she perform and write all her shows she builds all the puppets,costumes and backdrops too. With a BA (Honors) in Creative Arts she is expert at building one of a kind puppets for performance.Occasionally she adapts puppets from existing objects and toys in her endeavor to re- use and recycle but that just adds to the charm of the handcrafted marionettes and other puppets. She also has a collection of vintage puppets for talks or demos on the art and history of puppetry..

Charlotte is also a professional actress and a member of the actors' unions SAG- AFTRA and Equity.She has toured nationally with the Underground Railway Theater and worked locally at the Science Museum,Urban Improv and on the Emmy award-winning WGBH teen show "Re-Action." She also works regularly as an actor for Mystery Cafe.Charlotte Dore was seen as the pilgrim Elizabeth Hopkins in the PBS series " We Shall Remain" which received the 2009 American Scene award for a documentary. In the fall of 2009 she woked with oscar winning puppeteer Tom Woodruff and ADI as an assistant puppeteer on the movie "Zookeeper" staring Kevin James filmed here in Boston. In 2018 charlotte was seen in the movie Chappaquidick as Mrs Kopechne along with Jason Clarke and Ed Helms.Charlotte is also an accomplished audio book narrator having recorded over 50 novels. Her improvisational skill allows Charlotte to present roving puppetry where marionettes can walk about an event or shopping mall and interact with passers by, provoking smiles and laughter.

In all her numerous endeavors, Charlotte always hopes to entertain and share the experience of being alive, the wonder and the joy.
