Rosalita the Puppet
This beautiful marionette, called Rosalita, started it all. In 1993 puppeteer Charlotte Anne Dore began using this marionette at King Richard’s Faire. Currently Rosalita is presenting in person and on line. She has her own Facebook page “Rosalita the Puppet” Where we post lots of informal video skits and content.
Puppet Shows For All Ages
Rosalita’s puppets loves to present in person puppet shows for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. Our shows offer great family entertainment for events, festivals, libraries and theatres. We have various sound systems and set ups such as battery powered speakers to allow for indoor and outdoor performances. We customize our puppet programs for each audience and situation from livestreams, daycare centers, resident homes, school assemblies and special needs. We have competitive pricing and will try to work with your budget. We have a brand new show “The Cabinet of Creatures” with Charlotte as the “Creature keeper”. This is great for 6 and up and ideal for festivals and walkabouts. We can also still offer on line options for many of our shows.
Original And Unique Puppet Shows
Rosalita’s Puppets presents shows written, designed and built by puppeteer Charlotte Anne Dore. She has a BA ( Honors) degree in Creative Arts from Nottingham Trent University in the UK. Each show is original and inventive. She has also custom built puppets for film and Theatre and assisted Oscar winning Tom WoodruffJr as additional puppeteer on the Kevin James movie “Zookeeper”.

Rosalita's Puppets presents one of a kind puppet shows using live sound rather than a recorded soundtrack. This allows for improvisation and adaptation making no two shows the same. Each show is influenced by the audience responses to questions. This encourages creative thinking and empowerment. The shows are great to develop early literacy, communication and understanding. Theatre shows
The Three Singing Princesses
A delightful one act kids musical suitable for the whole family. Three actor/ singer/ puppeteers portray all the characters using masks, songs and puppets. All original music with three part harmony. This show is ideal for large spaces, outdoors and Theatres.
The Enchanted Castle ( 2 person show)
Princess Krystal and Fairy Godmother Glitter host a wonderful show with a dragon, a 3 ft tall unicorn, fairies,singing and audience participation. Learn to be a prince or princess and meet the Unicorn puppet after the show. We also have a one person version of The Enchanted Castle with a smaller unicorn ( see Hand puppet show page)
Puppet Making Workshops
We can teach puppet making, performing and theatre acting/ games etc at schools, camps and libraries. These in person workshops can be customised to your group and can be part of a residency. We have online options for these programs. We also offer in person & online talks and demos for adults and colleges giving an overview of the history/theory of puppetry showing examples of puppets from around the world and discussing their role in culture and theatre.
"Holiday Tree" Family Theatre Show
When the decorations on the tree come to life adventure awaits. A one act play with puppets, objects and original music by Sarah Infini Takagi booking for 2025. An archived digital version of the world premier presented Dec 2021 at Chelsea Theate Works as part of their Resident Artist program will also be available.
